Sigo con el tema de Un ejército al amanecer. Por supuesto, la Editorial Crítica no ha contestado a mi email, pero el autor sí:
"Thanks for your note, Mr. de Prado. I'm very sorry to hear it, and will alert my American publisher. I appreciate your taking time to write.
Regards,
Rick Atkinson"

Es posible que no sea él en persona, pero el efecto está conseguido. Un lector insatisfecho es escuchado y esto le gratifica.

Aquí está el email que le envié:
"This is just to inform you that the Spanish translation of your book is a complete shame. As a Spaniard interested in WWII I was looking forward to read your book, and was very pleased that Editorial Critica launched such a beautiful edition. But when I read it I couldn't belive the lack of quality of the translation. A real pitty. I wrote to them but got no response. This is just to inform you of the disaster."
